Managed Car Parking System being implemented at the Community Hub, Highwood Road.

 

We will be introducing a managed parking system at our car park. This change aims to ensure spaces in the car park are only used free of charge for facility users. This change is in response to an increasing number of vehicles being left in the Village Hub carpark for days, weekends and sometimes weeks at a time, by persons wishing to avoid parking charges elsewhere. 

Persons parking cars but not then entering the building to attend an event or class happening at the time of their visit, will be required to pay to park. Users of the playpark or parents dropping children off to the school will still be able to park freely with a two-hour free of charge grace period in anyone day.
 
We will have the ability to restrict how many spaces we offer for pay-to-park users based on expected usage of the main facilities. During quiet period, such as the summer school holidays, we hope it might generate additional income to help cover maintenance costs. 

Some of us may forget as we rush into our events and could result in a Penalty Notice being issued from our third party managed car park supplier. Rest assured; we will have the ability to cancel notices received under these circumstances. Please contact the office as soon as possible should this happen.

 2. Enter your car registration number using the tablet inside the building.
 3. Enjoy your activity.
