Brockenhurst Flower Club is in its 34th year and we meet on the 3rd Monday of the month at 2pm in Forest Hall (unless otherwise stated).

Each month a different a Demonstrator will create beautiful flower arrangements on a theme; you will have a chance of winning one in the raffle at the end of the meeting.

Twice a year the meetings are workshops for members to learn new flower skills in an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere.

You do not need to have any previous flower arranging skill or experience to attend either the demonstrations or workshops.  You might even be inspired to have a go in our monthly club competition – but no pressure – you are just invited to join an afternoon of fantastic flowers, fun and friendship.

Tea / Coffee and biscuits are served after the regular meetings and the workshops include lunch.  Free parking is available at the hall.

Annual subscription – £45, guests £8 per meeting

There is a separate charge for the two workshops

Brockenhurst Wine Club is a friendly and fun club, which meets monthly in the Brockenhurst Village Hall. The aim of the Club is to explore a wide range of wines that you may not have come across, in a range of budgets, and learn something about how and where they’re made, as well as getting to know other like minded people.  We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.

The usual format of an evening is a tasting of around 8 wines, with a specific theme (for example: a region or country, or unusual grapes), usually led by an independent wine expert. These people are enthusiastic and knowledgeable and so the sessions combine the fun of trying different wines, with a bit of learning thrown in!

Brockenhurst WI is a thriving group with over 60 members of all ages! New members are always welcome but if you would prefer to find out more about us before joining, please do come along, free of charge, to one of our regular monthly meetings.

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month in the Exhibition Room on the 1st floor of Brockenhurst Village Hall starting at 19.30. Members tend to start arriving at about 19.00. Access to the room is via a staircase or lift for anyone who struggles with steps.

The format of each meeting is fairly simple starting with Jerusalem and WI business, followed by a visiting speaker, and ending with refreshments. There is nearly always a raffle, a ‘Bring and Buy’ stall and a competition of some sort.

Throughout the year, we organise outings to the theatre, local places of interest, organised and informative walks, lunches in local hostelries and meetings organised by the wider WI Federation. A general knowledge Quiz takes place annually in which we pit our wits against teams from other local WI groups with winners going forward to other stages of the tournament.
