The aim of the club is to promote friendship and fun with flowers. We have a thriving and very friendly group of people who will always welcome new guests or members and are particularly keen to meet new people who may want to visit either a couple of times a year or, if you enjoy yourself, join our family of flowery folk.

Each year we feature demonstrations from talented demonstrators & speakers from across the country. For those who enjoy competitions (great fun, very informal and with support if you want it) a club competition is held most months.

We also run various topical workshops delivered by talented in-house club members & occasionally Area or National Demonstrators all sharing their expertise. These days or afternoons are always accompanied by delicious lunches or afternoon teas (at extremely good value) so many of our members & guests decide to join us for just the social side of the meeting.

So, if you are new to the area, are tempted to join in with a friendly local club or even want to extend your interest & visit our club as well as your own, we would love to see you.

You are not expected to attend every meeting …. the expectation is that you have fun and enjoy yourself. Plus, at every meeting there is a raffle and a chance to win one of the wonderful arrangements demonstrated that day! All while chatting with an accompanying tea/coffee cake or biscuit. Homemade scrumptiousness at National Demonstrations.

We meet every 3rd Monday in the month between 2pm – 4pm barring August (our summer break) at Brockenhurst Community Hub. There is ample FREE parking and if needed the train station is a short walk away. Sometimes a workshop or an outing may need to be arranged for another day, but this is always planned in advance.

Our committee works very hard to try and deliver a lively and interesting programme of events and is always open to ideas from all our members and visitors.

We do hope this has sparked an interest in visiting us and we look forward to welcoming you to our up & coming events.

Yours in floral friendship – all at Brockenhurst Flower Club.

Brockenhurst Wine Club is a friendly and fun club, which meets monthly in the Brockenhurst Village Hall. The aim of the Club is to explore a wide range of wines that you may not have come across, in a range of budgets, and learn something about how and where they’re made, as well as getting to know other like minded people.  We meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm.

The usual format of an evening is a tasting of around 8 wines, with a specific theme (for example: a region or country, or unusual grapes), usually led by an independent wine expert. These people are enthusiastic and knowledgeable and so the sessions combine the fun of trying different wines, with a bit of learning thrown in!
