Brockenhurst Village Trust – Working Together for Our Community

Brockenhurst Village Trust is committed to supporting village life and creating spaces and opportunities for everyone. Here’s what’s been  happening:
  • Charity Shop Success & Community Benefits
Our charity shop is a vital part of village life, its success keeping the Community Hub thriving and affordable, while also:
    • Providing affordable shopping for residents
    • Reducing waste and promoting sustainability
    • Creating volunteering opportunities and social connections
    • Supporting local projects and events
  • Community Hub & New Spaces
We’re delighted to see more people enjoying the Community Hub, especially the new meeting space and bar. To keep everything running and affordable, we need to boost usage even further—your bookings make a real difference.
  • Brockenhurst Community Action Group (BCAG)
The Trust has approved BCAG’s structure, roles, and governance.  Monthly community meetings are now underway—the next is on aircraft noise, 4th December at 6:30pm at the Community Hub bar, which will be open. Thank you to everyone who joined recent discussions on St Martins Road bridge. BCAG will also host a Local Volunteer Fair in March, showcasing ways to help our community by giving your time.
  • MUGA Reopens
Our Multi-Use Games Area is open again with new weld mesh fencing, basketball hoops, and nets. Winter opening hours are published here.
  • Big Shout Out to Our Volunteers
The Trust, Community Hub, and Charity Shop couldn’t operate without our amazing volunteers and the Trust would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who gives their time . Volunteering is a rewarding way to support the community, and there are many roles available. Please speak to us if you’d like to get involved if you can’t wait until the Volunteer Fair to start helping!

Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected Brockenhurst. Thank you for your support!
