Our group meets at Brockenhurst Village Hall every Friday 10am – 3pm.

We offer social day care for those isolated elderly residents living in Brockenhurst & Sway.

Come and join our Friday Group and spend an enjoyable day with us. Have a home cooked lunch and make new friends.

Drink wine and raise money for local charities – WIN WIN

This is a fun challenge event to test your taste buds and memory. How well can you remember tastes and smells.
Rob Evison, professional winemaker, will lead the event.

He will give a short talk explaining how to taste wines and what to look for.

You will then taste six wines with the labels visible, (you’ll have a tasting sheet to make notes). Three of the wines will be brought back and tasted blind. using your notes to identify the wines and record your choices on a slip of paper.

If there’s a draw, we’ll go to a sudden death “drink-off” – successful tasters compete to identify further wines, dropping out if incorrect, until there’s a winner. The winner will be awarded an appropriate prize to recognise their achievement.

Tickets are £20 and can be purchased using the PayPal link below. Please note that tickets will not be available on the door so pre-booking essential.
