Pure Pilates Mat Classes with Shan

Group Mat Classes are recommended for those with no serious injury and who like to be in a regular weekly class setting. Class sizes are small to ensure individual attention, proper alignment, and technique. Toning, flexibility, better posture and increased body awareness are some of the many benefits of mat classes. In these classes traditional exercises get a boost with contemporary small equipment including balls, rings, bands, and foam rollers for a fun full-body workout. Classes run in 5 or 6-week blocks and are pre-paid/pre-booked. All mats and equipment will be provided.

The New Forest Model Railway Society…

Meets here in the Village Hall on Tuesday evenings from 7.00pm to 10.00pm most weeks [except for
some weeks over the Christmas period].
We are building layouts in N, OO and O gauge and have groups from steam through to modern image.
Construction or alterations are in progress in all scales at the present time.

If you are interested in Railway Modelling why not come along one evening.

Following the enormous success of BOUNCERS last year, BlackBox will be on tour again this autumn with a specially commissioned play to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the end of the First World War.

There are two performances. Thursday Nov 1st & Friday Nov 2nd. Both start at 7:30pm

Refreshments will be available.

Thursday’s performance ia a relaxed performance where the house lights will only be dimmed. Please contact the Hall Office if you are unsure as to which performance you should book onto.

Set on the battlefields of France during 1916, the multi-award winning BULLY BEEF & WHIZZBANGS takes a wry and often humorous look at life in a front line trench through the eyes of its two reluctant heroes. SMUDGER, a new arrival at The Front, is keen to shoot his first Jerry whilst HARRY is more interested in keeping his head down, thinking of home and enjoying a nice mug of tea. Stuck in a hole surrounded by mud and death, how will our boys cope with the ever-present danger of being shot or blown to smithereens?

“Cheer up chum. What’s the worst that could happen?”

THIS PERFORMANCE IS SUPPORTING THE ROYAL BRITISH LEGION AND THE WORK THEY DO WITH VETERANS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR FAMILIES

My style of teaching is quite informal because we’re all built differently. You have to work with what you’ve got – not against it!

So no matter what your abilities or needs, I can help you benefit from yoga. We can’t all get our legs round our ears!

I’m a Sivananda trained yoga teacher and I offer an eclectic mix of yoga styles based on Sivananda, Yin and Hatha yoga. Working with people of all abilities and needs, I use postures, breathing, relaxation techniques and laughter to help release  blockages, relieve tension and promote a general sense of wellbeing.
