Wutan New Forest Martial Arts

Wutan New Forest is the New Forest branch of a Chinese martial arts school established in 1966 by Grand Master Liu Yun Qiao.  Classes have been running in the New Forest area since 1989.

There are activities for all ages and abilities, from our Junior martial arts classes aimed at 8-16 year olds, to Tai Chi classes for those who prefer more relaxed exercise.

For the more competitive student we have a Chinese Kickboxing class, a great workout with conditioning and combat techniques.

We have a strong pedigree of authentic and traditional Kung Fu styles from Wing Chun (the martial art style made popular by Bruce Lee) to the “Bodyguard Style” (Ba Ji Quan) a powerful style used by China’s bodyguards who protected the Last Emperor Pu Yi, Chairman Mao and the Premier of Taiwan, Chiang Kai Shek.
