Celebrating Creativity in Extraordinary Times
In collaboration with local artist, Al Beckett, Brockenhurst Village Trust invites you to share some of your experiences of this extraordinary time with postcard size art (A5, 15 x 21cm). You can use any medium you like e.g. collage, drawing, painting, photos or even a small sculpture.
Al was inspired to get our community creative after a recent visit to Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange in Cornwall.
All works submitted by Tuesday Jan 5th, 2021 will be displayed as part of our Community Art Works celebration, as well as a document of lockdown life.
You may have been inspired by new routines or talents discovered, objects in your home that have become all too familiar, or surprisingly important: food, birds, nature or whatever it is that you were looking forward to when the lockdown ends. Anything goes!
A5 Cards will be available for collection from the Village Hall, post lockdown, or you can use your own cards or any other medium e.g. tree bark, crochet, etc – let your imagination run wild… Give your work a title and a short description of what it means to you.
